Rejoice and Sing Live
The United Reformed Church (Ã山ǿ¼é) held a hymn-filled service on 3 May 2025 celebrating 35 years of our hymn book, Rejoice and Sing.
It was a glorious chance to sing lots of hymns and to listen to those who helped create the hymn book in the late 1980s and early 1990s. There was a new hymn by Dominic Grant, with contributions from David Thompson, Stephen Orchard, Anne Sardeson, Roo Stewart, David Williams, David Jenkins, Brenda Stephenson and more. There was also be a special contribution from one of the Ã山ǿ¼é’s best known hymn writers, Brian Wren.
A panel discussion, chaired by the Editor of the Ã山ǿ¼é’s magazine, Reform, Stephen Tomkins, was also be part of the service along with a scratch choir, headed up by Roo Stewart.
Below you will find various videos from the day, links to resources and exhibition materials.
